A.P.R.I.L. 2012

This is a month long campaign that will encompass

A.wareness, P.revention, R.ecognizing the signs, I.nternet Safety, L.earn the facts.

Volunteers needed to go to businesses and ask for sponsorship and sign up to be "Kids at Heart"

Businesses are free to be creative is how they would like to create awareneness and raise funds ie.hand out blue ribbons for a donation, ask customers to “round up” their change and donate it, or any other idea (upon approval of the Child Abuse Council).

Joe Nowak Memorial Kids at Heart Campaign - "Kids"sign up to champion the cause and pledge to raise funds by asking friends and family for donations via an email (provided by the Child Abuse Council with the option to add a personal message from you) that provides information about abuse, links to educational materials and facts, and a click to donate option.

April 29, 2012: 22^nd Annual Station Grill Party - Located at The Station Grill, 10:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

May 5, 2012: Shake the Can - 8:00 a.m. – Noon. “Roadblock” throughout the county at various intersections.

Volunteers are need in teams of four to cover an intersection to collect monetary donations for the organization. This event takes LOTS of manpower! May 24, 2012: Tee-Up “fore” Kids Golf Outing - Muskegon Country Club. Noon – 6:00 p.m.

Volunteers needed to secure sponsors, recruit players and volunteer at the hole events on the green.
